Florida Health Care Plans 401(k), relocation assistance United States, Florida, Daytona Beach 350 North Clyde Morris Boulevard (Show on map) Aug 13, 2026 APRN /PA Provider Services Full-time 1st shift 36 Summary Florida Health Care Plans, a large multi-specialty staff model HMO, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to float between six (6) EHCC locations. This position is three 12-hour shifts / 36 hours weekly, with a rotating 4-hour shift on Saturday. The Advanced Practice Provider shall provide necessary and appropriate urgent care services, within the scope of the Advanced Practice Provider's training and experience. Responsibilities and expectations to include the following:
  • Deliver patient-centered, compassionate care
  • Continuously enhance clinical knowledge
  • Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
  • Complete documentation, billing, and coding as required by healthcare regulations and standards
  • Attend staff meetings, training, and continuing education as required
  • Ability to treat Urgent Care presentations: (Chest Pain, Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, etc.)
  • Foreign body removal
  • Laceration repair, Suturing skills
  • Abscess I & D
  • Diagnose, treat, & splint fractures
  • DOT Certification required within 30 days
  • Professional examination experience (i.e. Firefighter's physical, etc.) preferred
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience (good typing & computer skills)
  • Worker's Comp Experience preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Practitioner / Physician Assistant Florida licensure
  • Minimum 3 years' post licensing experience, working independently, in family medicine, urgent care clinics or a combination
  • Graduate of an accredited program, APRN, NP, or PA program Compensation Details
