Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) - Neurology Emerald Coast Infectious Diseases Medical Group / American Medical Group Fort Walton Beach, FL Full-Time Position Overview AMG is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN ) to join our growing Neurology team. This role involves providing comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals experiencing a wide range of neurological conditions in an outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments, including patient history, physical exams, and diagnostic interpretation Diagnose and manage neurological conditions such as headache and pain disorders, movement disorders, Seizure and Epilepsy Disorders, Cognitive and Memory disorders. Collaborate with neurologists and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement treatment plans Order and interpret lab tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures Provide patient education on disease management, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications Prescribe medications and monitor patient progress and responses to therapy Participate in clinic, or telehealth services as needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system Qualifications Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Current APRN licensure in the state of FL Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, or ACNP preferred) Strong diagnostic, clinical, and patient communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Preferred Experience Experience in neurology, or related specialty Familiarity with EMR systems Background in managing chronic neurological disorders Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on collections Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision) Retirement plan with employer contribution (after 1 yr) Paid time off Malpractice insurance coverage Why Join Us?
