Job Description

Memorial Cancer Institute (MCI) at the Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a motivated and dynamic Physician Assistant to join its growing team. Memorial's Breast Cancer Program is recognized as a Florida Cancer Center of Excellence. The selected candidate will collaborate with an established, multidisciplinary team of cancer care specialists to provide comprehensive care for a wide range of breast oncological conditions in the outpatient clinic at MCI at Broward Health Medical Center. Under the general supervision of a physician, the APP will be responsible for independent visits for new patients, post operative, and follow ups. The ideal candidate will have at least one (1) year of demonstrated oncology experience as an Advanced Practice Provider. Candidates must have a national Adult Nurse Practitioner Certification, or Physician Assistant Certification. A BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross and a Florida license must be obtained by date of hire. Schedule requirements are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5PM, with no weekend or call expectations. This is a full-time employed position that offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience.
