Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive patient care across diverse clinical settings, utilizing your advanced nursing expertise to deliver exceptional health services. Your responsibilities will include conducting detailed assessments, managing acute and chronic conditions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Duties Perform thorough physical examinations, vital sign assessments, and detailed patient histories to inform accurate diagnoses. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication administration, injections, IV infusions, and wound suturing. Manage complex cases involving acute pain, infectious diseases, geriatrics, pediatric care, behavioral health, and hospice & palliative medicine. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for documentation, order entry, and patient data management. Conduct diagnostic evaluations using sonography, laboratory specimen collection/processing, and medical imaging techniques. Provide telehealth consultations and coordinate outpatient or inpatient care plans across various healthcare settings. Engage in clinical research activities and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the practice. Skills Extensive experience with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Athenahealth, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for efficient documentation and patient management. Proficiency in advanced procedures such as dermal fillers, Botox (Botulinum toxin treatment), spinal taps, catheterization, gastrostomy tube feeding, and sterile processing techniques. Strong knowledge of pharmacology including psychopharmacology and medication administration protocols. Critical care experience in ICU or Level I/II trauma centers with expertise in airway management, ventilator support, dialysis procedures, and acute care protocols. Skilled in triage assessment for urgent care or emergency room situations; capable of managing complex cases involving trauma or infectious disease care. Familiarity with CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-9/10 coding systems for accurate medical documentation and billing compliance. Experience working with diverse populations including children (pediatrics), seniors (geriatrics), individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities, and those in assisted living or memory care settings. Ability to perform specialized procedures such as dermal fillers, laser treatments for esthetic purposes, venipuncture, phlebotomy, tube feeding management, and physical examinations. Knowledge of Workers' Compensation law and discharge planning processes; adept at utilization review and case management strategies. Excellent communication skills for patient education on health coaching topics such as nutrition and chronic disease management; adept at teaching hospital or clinic environments.
