New Port Richey, FL (On-Site) Join a Mission-Driven Behavioral Health Team Real Recovery Solutions is seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing behavioral health and addiction treatment team. This position provides an opportunity to work directly with individuals recovering from substance use disorders (SUD) and co-occurring mental health conditions , helping patients build healthier, more fulfilling lives through evidence-based, integrated care. The ideal candidate is passionate about behavioral health, addiction medicine, and delivering high-quality patient-centered care in a collaborative treatment environment. What You'll Do Conduct comprehensive medical, psychiatric, and substance use assessments. Diagnose and treat mental health and addiction-related conditions. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans. Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with Florida regulations and approved clinical protocols. Review laboratory results and coordinate referrals to specialists when necessary. Collaborate with therapists, case managers, nurses, and the Medical Director to ensure integrated care. Provide patient education regarding medications, treatment recommendations, and wellness strategies. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Participate in case reviews and communicate findings and recommendations to the Medical Director. Support quality assurance, infection control, and regulatory compliance initiatives. Qualifications Required Active Florida ARNP license. Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Active DEA registration. Current professional liability (malpractice) insurance. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner. Preferred PMHNP certification. Experience in behavioral health, mental health, addiction medicine, or substance use disorder treatment. Experience working with co-occurring disorders. Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), including treatment for opioid and alcohol use disorders.
