You can make a long lasting and positive impact while providing compassionate care, reliable expertise and life-changing inspiration. • Key Responsibilities o Demonstrates the ability to administer quality primary care in a professional manner which supports the patient and families. o Provide documentation in the patient record that meets criteria for good medical practice and addresses legal mandates. o Provide on-call coverage for patient / families on a rotation basis (not applicable to all positions). o Communicate successfully with other Hope Healthcare services. • Knowledge & Skills o Adult Health, Primary Care and / or Geriatrics o Hospice or Palliative Care (preferable) o Practices within the standards of the American Nurses Association for: Scope and Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nursing, Nursing's Social Policy Statement and Specialty Nursing Standards • Required qualifications o Advanced Nursing Degree, Master's level from accredited nursing school. Specialty in Adult Health, Primary Care, and Geriatrics preferred. o Current unrestricted APRN license, Florida. o Certification in Hospice and Palliative nursing preferred. o Must possess / be eligible for Medicare license (Medicaid preferred) as a participating provider. o DEA license required. o Must possess a valid driver's license in the state of Florida, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.
