Job Description

Bay Arthritis Institute is seeking a motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing rheumatology team. You will play an essential role in diagnosing, treating, and managing complex chronic conditions while helping patients improve their quality of life. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and follow-up visits Obtain medical histories and conduct physical examinations Order, interpret, and review laboratory and diagnostic studies Diagnose and manage rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness Educate patients regarding disease processes, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently within the electronic medical record Collaborate with infusion, physical therapy, and support staff to coordinate patient care Qualifications Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Florida (or eligible for licensure) Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and patient education abilities Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment Experience in rheumatology, internal medicine, family medicine, orthopedics, or related specialties preferred, but not required New graduates with strong clinical backgrounds and a desire to specialize may be considered About Panama City Enjoy an outstanding work-life balance in one of Florida's most desirable coastal communities.
