Summary Florida Health Care Plans, a large multi-specialty staff model HMO, is seeking an Advanced Practice Practitioner This position is three 12-hour shifts / 36 hours weekly, with a rotating 4-hour shift on Saturday. The Advanced Practice Practitioner shall provide necessary and appropriate urgent care services, within the scope of their training and experience. Responsibilities and expectations include the following: Provides care to patients across all age groups Ability to treat Urgent Care presentations: (Chest Pain, Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, etc.) Foreign body removal Laceration repair, Suturing skills Abscess I & D Diagnose, treat, & splint fractures DOT Certification required Professional examination experience (i.e. Firefighter's physical, etc.) preferred Epic EMR experience Worker's Comp Experience preferred Qualifications

APRN, NP
