Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our supportive inpatient medicine team. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive inpatient hospitalist care to adult patients in a hospital setting Conduct daily patient rounds, assessments, and develop evidence-based treatment plans Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently using Epower Doc EMR system Perform admission histories, physical examinations, and discharge planning Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers regarding treatment plans and patient progress Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with hospital protocols Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of hospitalist or inpatient medicine experience required Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program Current Florida state license or eligibility for Florida NP/PA licensure Active ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required Active PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Patient-focused approach with excellent bedside manner Collaborative mindset with proven ability to work effectively in team environments Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities Preferred Qualifications ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) certification preferred Experience with Epower Doc EMR system highly beneficial Previous experience in acute care or hospital medicine settings Comprehensive Benefits Package 26 Weeks OFF Per Year
