Full Job Description Sunrise Detox:
Position Title:
Nurse Practitioner Sunrise Detox is a premiere center for drug and alcohol detox. Sunrise promises to give you one of the most comfortable medical detox processes available. We believe in creating a different experience where our road to recovery is dignified. Our clients reside in comfortable modern, elegantly furnished rooms where good nutrition is also an essential part of the detoxification process. We offer individual and group counseling to clients and bring in 12 Step meetings to show clients they are not alone once they leave treatment.
Job description:
The
APN/ARNP
is responsible for providing general care primarily for patients admitted to the facility. This position performs physical examinations and works closely with the Medical Director to develop the correct health care plans and goals for current patients.
APN/ARNP
Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform History and Physical for all patients within 24 hours of admission Order and interpret lab tests Prescribe non-controlled medications and controlled substances Provide education related to medical issues and detox Provide compassionate support through all process phases Work with multidisciplinary team to discuss, access and resolve patient problem
APN/ARNP
Requirements:
Active and clean Family or Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner license Substance abuse experience preferred but not required CPR certification Minimum 2 years' experience

Schedule:
Full time - in facility 5 8 hour shifts per week
