Job Description

Description . This on-site, contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality medical care in a dynamic medical practice environment. As a Locum NP/PA in Cardiology, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and managing cardiovascular conditions, collaborating closely with our cardiology team to ensure the best patient outcomes. This position not only allows you to apply your clinical skills but also contributes to the advancement of cardiac care in our community. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations in cardiology Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment as necessary Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results Provide patient education on cardiovascular health Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals Document patient encounters accurately and timely Participate in patient care rounds and case discussions Requirements Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of practice Associate degree in Nursing or a related field Experience in cardiology or related medical specialty preferred Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems Commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8a-5p No call requirement
Daily Volume:
15 patients
Caseload:
General and interventional cardiology, and structural heart Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
