ASAP About the Position Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) - Perm Full-Time Position in Carrollton, GA Join Our Team at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, Georgia Tanner Medical Center, a nationally recognized healthcare provider, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to become a vital part of our dynamic Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern, state-of-the-art hospital environment alongside a collaborative team of neonatologists and healthcare professionals, serving a vibrant community with approximately 1,000 births annually.

Rotating shifts including 16- and 24-hour coverage

Must reside within the immediate local area; relocation assistance may be provided No Benefits for
Locum or Visa Candidates Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert neonatal care within a Level
III NICU
featuring 10 beds, managing complex and high-acuity neonatal cases. Support and oversee care in a busy 20-bed newborn nursery, offering daily NNP coverage. Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans for vulnerable newborns. Collaborate closely with neonatologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, high-quality patient care. Manage patient care from admission through stabilization and discharge, emphasizing family-centered and evidence-based practices. Participate actively in a structured scheduling system, including overnight and extended shifts, ensuring 24/7 coverage. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and uphold clinical standards to enhance neonatal outcomes.
Qualifications:
Valid and current Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Certification. Minimum of [X] years of relevant neonatal care experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
