Carrollton, GA App 26-1197 Job Description Nurse practitioner provides patient services through the performance of patient evaluation, assessment and treatment in the medical office setting as allowed by state licensure laws under the supervision of the medical director. The nurse practitioner works closely with the clinic staff, hospital departments and community agencies.

Six months of related experience Licenses and Certifications

GEORGIA REGISTERED NURSE LICENSE OR MULTISTATE NURSING LICENSE GEORGIA NURSE PRACTITIONER LICENSE HEALTHCARE PROVIDER

(CPR) Qualifications Graduate of a recognized program for Nurse Practitioner training (MSN). Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Georgia ACLS recommended. Able to communicate effectively with medical and hospital staff and various populations in clinics and public screening events. Must possess the sense or discipline to work in accordance with accepted clinical standards. Must maintain high degree of confidentiality. Must possess the cognitive ability to understand patient medical records, physician orders and medical orders to be communicated to patient, hospital and/or other physician. Must be capable of dealing tactfully and effectively with patients, family members, other employees and physicians Must meet credentialing criteria. Prior experience in a like specialty preferred. Additional certification will be required for some specialties (i.e.

ACLS, PALS

)
