CVS Health seeks a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality, evidence-based primary and urgent care within our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you'll assess, diagnose, and treat diverse patient populations, prescribe medications, and develop care plans aligned with CVS Health's purpose of helping people on their path to better health. You'll collaborate closely with pharmacists, physicians, and care teams, leveraging CVS Health's integrated health services to improve outcomes, access, and affordability. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for primary and minor urgent care needs Develop and manage evidence-based care plans for diverse patient populations Prescribe medications and order/interpret diagnostic tests per state and federal regulations Document encounters accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system Collaborate with pharmacists, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and preventive health strategies Support quality, safety, and compliance standards in line with CVS Health policies Participate in continuous learning, training, and performance improvement initiatives Required Skills Advanced patient assessment and diagnosis Primary and urgent care management Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation Prescriptive authority and medication management Chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension) Minor procedures and point-of-care testing Care coordination and interdisciplinary collaboration Patient education and counseling Clinical decision-making and critical thinking Regulatory and compliance documentation
