Position Summary Caduceus is seeking an experienced and adaptable Nurse Practitioner to serve as a Float Provider supporting our network of occupational medicine clinics in the Metro Atlanta area. This position provides clinical coverage for vacations, leaves of absence, staffing shortages, new clinic openings, and other operational needs across any of our clinic locations. The ideal candidate is flexible, dependable, and comfortable practicing independently in different clinic environments while maintaining consistent clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and exceptional patient care. Essential Responsibilities Evaluate and treat occupational injuries and illnesses. Perform pre-employment, annual, DOT, OSHA, and employer-required physical examinations. Conduct return-to-work and fitness-for-duty evaluations. Order, interpret, and document diagnostic testing when appropriate. Provide first aid and emergency stabilization for workplace injuries. Perform laceration repair, wound management, splinting, and other minor office procedures. Interpret X-rays and other diagnostic studies within scope of practice. Complete accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic medical record. Collaborate with employers, workers' compensation adjusters, case managers, and referral providers. Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, HIPAA, and all applicable federal and state regulations. Support drug and alcohol testing programs, including DOT collections and Breath Alcohol Testing, as applicable. Maintain efficient patient flow while delivering outstanding customer service. Assist with onboarding and mentoring clinical staff as needed. Float between clinic locations based on operational needs. Qualifications Required Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Current Georgia Nurse Practitioner license in good standing. Current BLS certification. DOT Medical Examiner Certification (must obtain within 6 months) Minimum of two years of Nurse Practitioner experience. Ability to practice independently within Georgia scope-of-practice requirements. Valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Ability and willingness to travel between clinic locations in the Metro Atlanta area. Preferred Occupational Medicine experience. Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or Family Practice experience. Experience managing workers' compensation cases. Experience performing minor procedures and interpreting diagnostic imaging. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt quickly to changing clinical environments. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Proficiency with electronic medical records. Commitment to teamwork, compliance, and exceptional patient care. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Frequent bending, reaching, and assisting patients during examinations and procedures. Schedule This is a Float position that provides provider coverage across any of Caduceus' Georgia clinic locations based on operational needs.
