We are seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide compassionate, high-quality outpatient care to children and families throughout East Hawaii. Position Highlights 100% Outpatient Pediatrics Monday-Friday clinic schedule Well-child visits and preventive care Same-day sick visits and acute pediatric concerns Management of common chronic pediatric conditions Newborn through adolescent patient population Established patient panel and strong community presence Epic EMR Collaborative pediatric physician support Dedicated clinical support staff Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care for newborns, children, and adolescents Conduct well-child examinations, developmental screenings, and preventive health visits Diagnose and treat common pediatric illnesses and injuries Administer and oversee immunization schedules Manage chronic pediatric conditions and coordinate specialty referrals as needed Educate patients and families regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment plans Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary services to ensure high-quality patient care Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program Current Hawaii license or eligibility for licensure Board Certification or Board Eligibility as NP or PA Current DEA registration or eligibility Current BLS certification Company Description East Hawaii Medical Group (EHMG) is the East Hawaii Region of Hawaii Health Systems Corporation's employed provider group. Noted as being the largest group of healthcare providers on the Big Island, we are comprised of over 140 physicians and advanced practice providers representing a wide range of medical specialties.
