Boone, IA Employment Status:
Full-Time
We are seeking an ARNP or PA-C to join our busy, rural, well-established primary care clinics affiliated with Boone County Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated APP who enjoys caring for a diverse patient population in a collaborative, team-based environment.
Position Highlights:
Full time position which will include inpatient rounding and call
Practice in a rural clinic affiliated with a Critical Access Hospital
Broad scope of practice with a diverse patient population across the lifespan
Strong teamwork with physicians, nursing, and care team members
Dragon voice recognition and AI-assisted documentation tools to reduce charting burden and support work-life balance
Community-focused practice where providers are truly valued
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive primary care services including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care
Conduct patient histories, physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment planning
Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
Prescribe medications and manage ongoing care
Collaborate closely with physicians and interprofessional team members
Utilize Dragon and AI documentation tools to support efficient, high-quality clinical documentation
Assist with inpatient rounds in a rotation with other APP's and Physicians
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited ARNP or PA-C accredited program
Current (or ability to obtain) state licensure in the state of Iowa
Current DEA and CSA
ACLS, BLS and PALS required for this position
Three to Five years Primary care experience required do to inpatient responsibilities
