Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Nurse Practitioner, where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in patient care across diverse settings. Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and physiological evaluations. Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions, utilizing sterile techniques and ensuring proper documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks. Perform specialized procedures such as dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, an Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans, discharge instructions, and care coordination strategies for outpatient populations. Engage in clinical Hormone Replacement Therapy Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain meticulous medical records while adhering to NCQA standards for quality assurance. Qualifications Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure with current certification to practice independently. Demonstrated experience working in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, emergency rooms, ICU/CCU/PICU units, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care settings. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), ICD-9/10 classifications. Experience performing procedures such as venipuncture, phlebotomy, tube feeding management, airway management including ventilator support, and infection control protocols. Familiarity with specialty areas including gastroenterology, hospice & palliative medicine, occupational health, infectious disease care, trauma centers (Level I & II), dialysis management, spinal tap procedures, sonography techniques, pain management strategies, and behavioral health interventions. Critical care experience with ICU or emergency room settings preferred; experience with medical imaging or laboratory specimen processing is a plus. Excellent patient care skills with a focus on assessment accuracy and compassionate communication; ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages—including children and seniors—and those with disabilities or developmental challenges.
