Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our hospitalists team. This is a full-time position, though part-time applications are also welcome. The work schedule follows a 7 days on - 7 days off model or a similar rotation, including both day and night shifts, with night shifts divided across two weeks. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are well-equipped for your responsibilities. You will be involved in diagnosing and treating patients admitted to the medical/surgical floors. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in acute care and internal medicine. If you are dedicated to advancing your knowledge and clinical expertise, we'd like to meet you.
Responsibilities:
Admit patients from the ER to medical or surgical floors. Examine patients and review their medical records. Order diagnostic work up such as blood tests and X-rays. Respond to nurse pages and address patient needs. Lead the rapid response team (No Code Blue responsibilities). Document patient care plans in the hospital's EMR system. Educate patients and their families about current conditions and future follow-ups.Skills:
Proven experience as a PA or NP in a clinic, hospital, ER, or similar settings. Expertise in inpatient care, acute care, or ICU is preferred. Excellent communication skills. Strong ethics. Team spirit with a positive attitude. Patience and calmness under pressure. Willingness to continually gain knowledge and clinical experience. Valid PA or NP license.Job Type:
