If you're passionate about delivering exceptional care and making a difference in the lives of our communities, join the Loyola team as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) or Physician Assistant (PA) in our inpatient Gastroenterology service and become Loyola Strong! What you'll do: Loyola University Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our inpatient Gastroenterology team. This role provides advanced clinical care in an acute care setting, managing a diverse population of patients with complex gastrointestinal conditions. The APP will work both independently and collaboratively with attending physicians, fellows, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive care for hospitalized patients with gastrointestinal conditions, including liver disease, GI bleeding, inflammatory bowel disease, pancreatitis, and other acute GI disorders Perform detailed patient assessments, including history, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the GI team Manage inpatient consultations and follow-up care, ensuring timely evaluation and intervention Order, interpret, and act on laboratory, imaging, and procedural results Perform procedures within scope of practice and assist with GI procedures as needed Coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams, including case management and ancillary services Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support evidence-based practice standards Maintain high standards of care aligned with Loyola Medicine's mission and values What we offer:

  • Pay Range:
    $109,304
  • $180,336 per year Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
