Job Description:
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PA/Nurse injector/Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. Must have completed training and have experience with injecting toxins and dermal fillers. Ideal candidate must be able to work at both of our locations in Oakbrook Terrace and Chicago Ridge. Needs to be comfortable helping to manage weight loss and hormone therapy patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering injectable treatments, including botulinum toxin and dermal fillers, while providing exceptional patient care. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Cosmetic Injector:
Nurse Injector/Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Responsibilities Administer botulinum toxin treatments and dermal fillers according to established protocols. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans. Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on procedures, expected outcomes, and post-treatment care. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide immediate care as needed. Stay updated on the latest advancements in aesthetic treatments and nursing practices. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
Cosmetic Injector:
RN/Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Skills The following skills are essential or desirable for the position: Proficiency in EMR systems for effective medical documentation. Experience with botulinum toxin treatment and dermal fillers administration. Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control practices. Strong patient assessment skills with an understanding of anatomy and physiology. Ability to perform various nursing tasks such as IV insertion, phlebotomy Excellent communication skills for educating patients Commitment to ongoing professional development in nursing practices and aesthetic procedures.
