Meditech Expanse Minimum Education/License/Certification Requirements Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program with an advanced degree (master's or doctorate) degree from an accredited nursing program. Must hold an unrestricted license to practice Nursing in the State of Indiana. Must have two (2) years acute care clinical experience. Must be nationally certified in Advance Practice Specialty with recent clinically related experience in specialty. Be able to obtain prescriptive privileges required and the ability to maintain current privileges (to be allowed prescriptive authority) and exercise a well written collaborative practice agreement with a designated physician. Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice to include: Clinical expertise. Integration of care across the care continuum Establishment of processes for surveillance of care Accountability for patient outcomes across settings Evidence-based clinical practice Advocacy for patients and Witham Health Services Support the changes with the role as patient/systems needs demand Have critical decision-making skills Ability to communicate effectively with others Ability to maintain favorable public relations Ability to relate effectively with patients, visitors, medical and hospital staff. Ability to serve as a contributing member of a team.
