A Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner provides mental health and nursing care to patients with psychiatric disorders, medical organic brain disorders or substance abuse problems. Diagnoses mental illness, develops treatment plans and prescribes medications. Teaches patient's family about the patient's condition. Works at hospitals with dedicated mental health unit, fully dedicated psychiatric hospital or in independent practice working from nursing homes and physicians' offices.

Job Description

PMHNP position available due to tremendous growth across seven Indiana counties. This seven county Certified Community Behavioral Health Center is passionate about rural community-based mental and behavioral health and has vast plans for expansion.
Opportunity:
  • Practice in-person- option of several N. Indiana communities
  • 4-day/ 32 hour per week position
  • Team of Physicians, PMHNP providers, and great support staff
  • Pts.
