Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate to join our dynamic MOBILE wound care team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive patient care in a mobile setting. You will be visiting patients where they live. This can include private residences, assisted living facilities, and other locations. Your expertise will help deliver high-quality, compassionate services while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your broad clinical skills in a fast-paced environment committed to excellence and innovation. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and vital signs, to establish patient-centered treatment plans. Perform medical procedures such as wound debridement or other wound care related procedures. Manage wounds for adult and geriatric patients. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems for documentation of medical records, coding (ICD-10, CPT), and billing purposes. Participate in diagnostic evaluations using laboratory testing, sonography, medical imaging, and specimen collection/processing. Potential to engage in telehealth consultations while maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality. Collaborate with specialists in areas such as infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, home health, etc. Other wound care or office related responsibilities as needed for patient care Skills Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for efficient documentation and patient management. Ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills in performing wound care and basic life support (BLS). Experience with diverse medical settings including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, outpatient clinics, and home care environments. Knowledge of pharmacology related to wound care patient needs. Familiarity with CPT coding for procedures and ICD coding for wound care related diagnoses to ensure accurate billing compliance. Experience working with elderly populations (geriatrics/memory/dementia care). Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient privacy during all aspects of care delivery.
