Works at hospitals with dedicated mental health unit, fully dedicated psychiatric hospital or in independent practice working from nursing homes and physicians' offices.

Job Description

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, LTC, SNF and Assisted Living, Indiana Great opportunity for a PMHNP to join a solid organization treating post-acute and long-term care patients within our Long Term, Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living facilities. NP treats Monday - Friday, no nights or weekends. Opportunity is flexible, onsite, round-and-go model with remote documentation. Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations. Diagnose and treat psychiatric, behavioral, and neurocognitive disorders in older adults. Prescribe and manage medications within the coverage areas of Vincennes, Washington, Petersburg, Jasper, and Princeton, Indiana. Back-end infrastructure and clinical support provided. For additional specification on role contact recruiter. Requires active, unrestricted Indiana state license as a PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C. Active DEA or willingness to obtain. Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred will consider new graduates. Compensation up to $170K base (depending on experience) with no cap on productivity income.
