Join 4 Psychiatrists growing to 5 and 3 NPs growing to 5. Outpatient only position, 75% Geriatric and 25% Adult Patient Mix. No call and Flexible scheduling. The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner performs history and physical examinations on patients. Establishes presumptive diagnoses, establishes the general work up of the patient by ordering appropriate laboratory studies and is responsible under the physician's supervision for the management of the patient's problems following diagnosis. Initiates appropriate laboratory, radiological and special examinations or test required for the evaluation. Provides counseling and instruction regarding patient problems, referring patients to other services. Provides follow up care to patients per physician's plan of care.

Coordinates care with discharge planners:
