They evaluate, diagnose, monitor, and manage patients using advanced assessment skills in collaboration with their supervising physician.
Qualifications:
- Postgraduate degree, licensure as an Advanced Practice Clinician or Physician Assistant, BLS, ACLS.
Experience:
- None required.
Skills:
- - Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, and communication skills. - Proficiency in computer applications such as Excel and medical record charting.
Mental & Emotional Requirements:
- Ability to manage stress, make decisions under pressure, handle multiple priorities, and work independently in various environments.
Working Conditions:
- Exposure to blood, body fluids, and communicable diseases; working with computer monitors.
Physical Requirements:
- Medium work involving prolonged sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs.
