In this vital role, you will utilize your advanced nursing skills to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, ensuring comprehensive care that promotes health and well-being. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your clinical knowledge and patient-centered approach will make a meaningful difference in the community. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Perform advanced procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, I&D's etc Utilize EHR system (electronic health record) (eClinicalWorks) for accurate documentation of patient encounters. Provide telehealth consultations where applicable to expand access to care and support patients remotely. Coordinate with Primary Care providers across our three locations to ensure continuity of care Requirements Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current certification in your practicing state. Proven experience in clinical settings such as hospital medicine, emergency medicine, ICU, or outpatient clinics. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems for efficient documentation. Ability to perform procedures including suturing, phlebotomy, and aseptic technique. Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-10), and utilization review processes. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
