Nurse Practitioner (NP) Wound Care (Skilled Nursing Facilities)

Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide advanced wound care services to patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) throughout the Greater Boston area. This is a field-based role offering autonomy, flexibility, and strong administrative support—with no nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities.. Responsibilities

• Perform wound assessments, treatment, and follow-up care in SNF settings
• Develop and implement individualized wound care treatment plans
• Collaborate with facility staff and interdisciplinary care teams
• Document patient encounters accurately using EHR systems
• Educate patients, families, and facility staff on wound care and prevention Schedule & Work Environment
• Monday-Friday, daytime hours
• No nights, weekends, or on-call
• Travel to multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities in the Greater Boston area

• Active Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner license (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to travel throughout the Greater Boston area
• Minimum 1 year of wound care experience or strong clinical background
• Comfort managing wounds independently
• Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach
• Proficiency with technology and EHRs

Preferred:

Experience in wound care or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) settings
