As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you'll join an experienced interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care. Practice without RVU or productivity requirements. Treat complex psychiatric conditions in a specialized inpatient setting. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team. What You'll Do Conduct initial and comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including mental status exams and diagnostic evaluations. Develop, review, and implement individualized treatment and discharge plans in partnership with the treatment team. Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in alignment with best practices and guidelines. Provide ongoing care through daily rounds, patient education, and consultation. Monitor labs, assessments, and treatment response while adjusting care as needed. Deliver crisis intervention and respond effectively to urgent or emergency situations. Maintain thorough, compliant documentation in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards. What We're Looking For Education & Training Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (required) Experience Prior psychiatric care experience (required) 2 years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Licensure/Certifications Current NP license in the state of Massachusetts (required) DEA registration (required) Why Join Us?
