Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP/APRN) to provide daily private IV infusion for a private patient in Brookline, MA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver personalized, high-quality care in a private setting, ensuring each patient receives safe and effective IV therapy. Responsibilities Administer IV infusions accurately and safely, following aseptic technique protocols to prevent infection. Assess patient conditions prior to infusion, including vital signs, medical history, and current medications. Monitor patients throughout the infusion process, managing any adverse reactions or complications promptly. Draw blood immediately post-infusion for analysis and deliver to LabCorp location Maintain detailed and compliant medical documentation of procedures, patient responses, and treatment plans in electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems). Educate patients on post-infusion care, medication instructions, and answer questions to ensure comfort and understanding. Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate care plans and adjust treatments as necessary. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control standards at all times. Qualifications Valid Nurse Practitioner license in good standing with Massachusetts state licensing boards. Proven experience with IV infusion therapy, including venipuncture and catheter care. Experience working with diverse patient populations Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems Must be able to start immediately.
