Job Summary We are seeking a motivated, empathetic, and experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. In this hybrid role, you will act as the Lead Clinician on-site while also performing key responsibilities virtually. You'll support clients undergoing ketamine and esketamine treatments, oversee day-to-day clinical operations, and provide supervision to a multidisciplinary team.
Schedule Onsite:
Three 10-hour shifts (8am-6pm, 9am-7pm, or 10am-8pm) per week
Virtual:
"Fee for service" virtual hours for intakes and follow up visits.
Key Responsibilities Onsite Duties:
Manage daily clinical flow and team coordination Supervise a team of nurses and technicians Assign patients to clinicians and support staff Make clinical decisions regarding minor medical concerns (e.g., nausea, hypertension) Determine PRN medication needs and ketamine/esketamine dosing in collaboration with the medical team Administer intramuscular injections and observe esketamine treatments Liaise with the Office Manager to ensure safe staffing and operations Foster a collegial, warm, and supportive clinical environment Deliver ketamine treatments and provide patient-centered care Support real-time decisions around patient care plans Partner with the SIte Medical Director (a Psychiatrist) in clinical decision making.
Virtual Duties:
Conduct medical necessity intakes for prospective patients Follow up on existing patient care (e.g., collect MADRS scores, communicate with external providers) and clinical outcomes Make determinations around ongoing course of care Collaborate with Site Medical Directors Qualifications Master's degree in Nursing (NP) or completion of PA program with psychiatric experience Current certification and unrestricted licensure as an NP or PA Prescriptive authority and DEA registration for controlled substances Significant psychiatric experience preferred, including familiarity with personality disorders Prior experience in clinical leadership or team-based environments Comfort discussing psychedelic treatments and related frameworks Excellent clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills Experience with ketamine or esketamine a plus, but not required Proficiency in EMR and virtual care platforms A warm, collaborative working style that focuses on active problem solving Desired Characteristics Warm, empathic, and collaborative interpersonal style Comfortable in low-volume psychopharmacology settings Strong leadership instincts and decision-making ability Interest in a holistic, humanistic approach to psychiatry
Compensation & Benefits Pay:
$70.00 - $85.00/hour
