Job Description

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant to become a part of our team and help expand our coverage for our brand new pediatrician practice. You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team to our current patients, as well as utilizing advanced assessment and physical examination skills, to assess patient care needs and develop the appropriate plan of care outside of our usual office hours.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric/Family experience
PREFERRED
Licensed PNP/FNP or Licensed PA Ability to work 30+ hours/week: day into early evening shifts and alternating weekends Ability to build rapport with patients Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong leadership qualities
Pay:
From $65.00 per hour
