Job Description
Key Responsibilities Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of ENT conditions affecting the ears, nose, throat, and sinuses, including allergies and related disorders Evaluate concerns such as hearing loss, tinnitus, impacted cerumen, ear pain, eustachian tube dysfunction, chronic ear infections, dizziness, and other ear disorders Assess and manage nasal obstruction, congestion, nosebleeds, nasal polyps or masses, and deviated septum symptoms Treat throat-related conditions including chronic tonsillitis, strep throat, abscesses, hoarseness, voice disorders, vocal cord nodules, swallowing difficulties, reflux, airway concerns, snoring, and sleep apnea Manage chronic sinusitis, recurrent sinus infections, facial pain, and headaches related to sinus conditions Perform minor in-office procedures such as nasal endoscopy, biopsies, cultures, ear cleaning, cauterization, and nasal packing for epistaxis Provide pre-operative education and appointments for patients and families, including answering questions regarding surgery and before- and after-care instructions Counsel patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and chronic disease management Qualifications Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program required Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license and prescriptive authority as required by state law Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner required Clinical experience in otolaryngology, primary care, family practice, or a related specialty preferred Experience performing or assisting with minor office-based procedures preferred Current BLS certification required Total Rewards The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of SCN'S salary range for this position. Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, market conditions, internal equity, responsibility factor and span of control, education/training and other qualifications.
