Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join a well-established outpatient clinic serving employees and their dependents (ages 2+). This role emphasizes preventative care, chronic disease management, and patient-centered wellness in a collaborative, low-volume environment.
Schedule Monday & Wednesday:
10:00 AM 6:00 PM (
Lunch:
2:00 2:30 PM)
Tuesday & Thursday:
7:00 AM 5:00 PM (
Lunch:
12 30 PM)
Friday:
8:00 AM 12:00 PM Clinical Responsibilities Perform physical exams, health assessments, and screenings Deliver preventative care and wellness services Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions Provide diabetes management (required) Conduct well-woman exams Address minor behavioral health concerns Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans Educate patients on health conditions and preventative care Collaborate with care team (2 providers + 3 MAs) Document care using Athena EMR Practice Highlights Average patient volume: 8 10 patients per day Outpatient-only setting Focus on quality care vs. high volume Team-based, collaborative care model Emphasis on preventative medicine and long-term health outcomes Requirements Active Nurse Practitioner license in Maryland Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) BLS/CPR certification Minimum 2 years of FNP experience Recent primary care experience (within last 2 years) Experience managing chronic conditions and diabetes Ability to perform well-woman exams Must meet all federal, state, and local compliance requirements
Preferred:
DOT certification Experience with Athena EMR Local candidates Additional Details Credentialing timeline: 2 3 weeks

4-hour shadow shift prior to start
