Position Overview Highland Healthy Living— Cumberland, MD Highland Healthy Living is a growing primary care and family medicine clinic in Cumberland, MD. We are seeking an experienced full-time Family Nurse Practitioner to join our founding provider. Providers who can bring their own established patient panel are welcome and encouraged. Primary Responsibilities Ability to bring an established patient panel strongly Preferred Evaluate and diagnose acute and chronic medical conditions for patients of all ages. Develop and manage treatment plans. Prescribe and monitor medications, including chronic disease management. Provide annual physicals, preventive screenings, and wellness visits. Order and interpret appropriate laboratory testing. Coordinate care with specialists, neurologists, therapists, and care managers. Document encounters in the EMR within 48 hours. Participate in quality programs and preventive care initiatives. Deliver same-day, walk-in, and telehealth visits as needed. Maintain DEA registration, state licensure, and board certification. Preferred Qualifications MSN or DNP. Active Maryland NP license. Board-certified
FNP. DEA
registration. Minimum 1-2 years of primary care experience preferred. Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $135,000 Bonus after 6 months: $5,000 if agreed productivity and quality metrics are met. Annual performance bonus tied to collections and quality.
