Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations. Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies. Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans. Perform procedures within scope of practice and credentialing. Collaborate closely with Emergency Medicine physicians and multidisciplinary teams to provide efficient, high-quality patient care. Document patient encounters accurately within Epic. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental education as appropriate. Qualifications Nurse Practitioner Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Board certification as an Acute Care or Emergency Nurse Practitioner (or certification appropriate for Emergency Medicine practice) Current Maryland licensure or eligibility Physician Assistant Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program NCCPA certification Current Maryland licensure or eligibility Preferred Qualifications Emergency Department or Urgent Care experience preferred Current BLS and ACLS certification ATLS and PALS are desirable About UM Baltimore Washington Medical Center Located in Glen Burnie, Maryland , UM BWMC is a nationally recognized community medical center serving Anne Arundel County and the surrounding region.
