Job Description

Nurse Practitioner
Salary:
$110-130k/yrMedical, Dental, and Vision Care401k
PTOSchedule:
Monday - Friday 2pm -10pm, with on-call requirements (phone)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (FNP or AGNP) to provide high-quality medical care to clients at our inpatient substance use treatment facility. This role is critical in ensuring continuity of care, safe medical withdrawal management, and prompt response to client medical needs.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our staffed Nurse Practitioners and clinical team to manage client care, including medical withdrawal management.
  • Conduct medication passes and oversee ongoing medication management
  • Schedule and manage client medications within the EMAR system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Perform history and physical examinations, as well as medical evaluations
  • Ordering appropriate labwork and treating client based on findings.
  • Assess medical appropriateness for client admissions
  • Prescribe medications as clinically indicated, including those related to withdrawal management
  • Address and respond to client's medical concerns in a timely manner
  • Recommend and coordinate external medical referrals when necessary
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Maintain HIPAA
  • Actively involved in developing medical policies and process improvements.
  • Foster positive, collaborative relationships with clients and interdisciplinary staff
Qualifications:
  • Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license (FNP or AGNP)
  • DEA license
  • CDS license
  • State licensure
  • 2 years or more in practicing as an FNP
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or a related setting is strongly preferred
  • Experience with Kipu
EMR/EMAR
