Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (FNP or AGNP) to provide high-quality medical care to clients at our inpatient substance use treatment facility. This is a part time weekend position, with occasional weekday needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with our staffed Nurse Practitioners and clinical team to manage client care, including medical withdrawal management. Conduct medication passes and oversee ongoing medication management Schedule and manage client medications within the EMAR system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Perform history and physical examinations, as well as medical evaluations Ordering appropriate labwork and treating client based on findings. Assess medical appropriateness for client admissions Prescribe medications as clinically indicated, including those related to withdrawal management Address and respond to client medical concerns in a timely manner Recommend and coordinate external medical referrals when necessary Maintain accurate and timely documentation Maintain HIPAA Actively involved in developing medical policies and process improvements. Foster positive, collaborative relationships with clients and interdisciplinary staff We are looking for both a PRN and/or Part Time Provider.
Shift Needs:
Weekends 12-10pm Occasional weekday availability
Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license (FNP or AGNP) DEA license CDS license State licensure' CPR certfication 2 years or more in practicing as an
FNP or AGNP Preferred Experience:
Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or a related setting is strongly preferred
Pay:
$57.00 - $65.00 per hour
