Job Description
We're looking for a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to step into a Lead Provider role at our urgent care in Auburn, ME. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced APP who loves hands-on patient care and also wants to lead, mentor, and support a busy clinical team. You'll be the on-site clinical leader, helping ensure excellent, evidence-based care while creating a collaborative, efficient, and safe environment for patients and staff. What you'll do: Provide comprehensive urgent care to patients of all ages. Serve as the clinical lead for on-site staff, setting and maintaining high clinical standards. Mentor and support new graduates, NPs/PAs, and other allied health professionals. Promote evidence-based practice and adherence to clinical protocols. Ensure regulatory and quality compliance across the site. What we're looking for: Master's degree from an accredited NP or PA program. Certification from an appropriate NP or PA certifying body. Active Maine license or eligibility for licensure (and ability to obtain and maintain an unrestricted DEA). Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care is strongly preferred. Leadership, mentorship, or precepting experience is a plus.
