Position Details Per Diem Nurse Practitioner role within the Sleep Medicine program. Provide primary and specialty-focused care including health maintenance, disease prevention, patient education, and counseling. Perform comprehensive physical exams and obtain/document medical histories. Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions. Order and interpret diagnostic tests including labs, imaging, and EKGs. Prescribe medications and non-pharmacologic therapies within scope of practice. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system.
