Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will work in collaboration with the physician(s) in the hospital-based, outpatient setting with patients who have chronic pain. They will require a high level of independent clinical decision-making in a fast-paced environment. No nights. No call. No holidays. No weekends.

part-time, 2- 3 days per week, 8-hour shifts Work location(s): Saint Ignace, MI Job Responsibilities Work autonomously in a hospital-based outpatient pain clinic See a mix of new patients and established patients with chronic pain in a fast-paced environment Order procedures for collaborating physician Conservative medication management while utilizing drug screens, pill counts, etc. Participate in marketing events (lunch & learns, med staff meetings, etc.) Minimum Qualifications Highly motivated and team oriented Safe, balanced, and patient focused approach to pain management Graduated from an accredited NP/PA program Certification from a national certifying body (ANCC, AANP, etc...) Requires full prescriptive authority upon employment Current DEA/DEA eligible in the state of
