Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant:
Hospital Medicine in beautiful Tawas, Michigan MyMichigan Medical Center Tawas has an opportunity for a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the MyMichigan Hospital Medicine/Critical Care team in Tawas, Michigan. A strong focus of this inpatient role will be patient admissions management and complex medical care management. This is a night position with 7 on 7 off from 7 p.m. - 7 a.m. Candidates with inpatient experience are highly preferred. This APP must possess great communication and clinical skills. APP's will work in conjunction with hospitalist physicians. There is a robust onboarding and training program as well as a formal mentorship program.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate, Diagnose, and treat patients who are admitted. This can include managing chronic conditions, addressing acute medical issues, and collaborating with other healthcare professional. This position will require preforming procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, TDC, chest tubes, lines, and medports.
Requirements:
Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program Experience Preferred Employment is contingent on successful completion of MyMichigan Health's credentialing process.
