Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this vital role, you will deliver high-quality patient care across diverse clinical settings, utilizing your advanced nursing skills to assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of health conditions. Your expertise will support our mission to improve health outcomes through comprehensive, patient-centered services. Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history reviews, and physiological evaluations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating medication administration, injections, IV infusions, suturing, and other procedures as needed. Manage acute and chronic conditions across various specialties such as emergency medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, and internal medicine. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation and coding (ICD-10/ICD-9/CPT). Perform diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection, sonography, spinal taps, and basic medical imaging techniques. Provide telehealth consultations to expand access to care while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for discharge planning, case management, and utilization review to optimize patient outcomes. Requirements Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current state certification; experience in primary care or specialized fields such as emergency medicine or critical care preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or Athenahealth; experience with telehealth platforms is a plus. Strong clinical skills including venipuncture, catheterization, sterile processing techniques, and airway management. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, pharmacology (including psychopharmacology), and CPT coding standards. Experience working in diverse settings such as hospitals (Level I/II trauma centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or outpatient clinics. Ability to perform complex procedures like dermal fillers or esthetic laser treatments is advantageous but not required. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients on health coaching topics such as nutrition and disease prevention.
