Job Description
Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for an Allergy and Asthma specialty clinic in Minnetonka and Blaine seeing patients of all ages. Our provider is leaving for 5 months on maternity leave so this will most likely be a temporary position but may be extended if mutually desired but the locations may change. Typical patients will have asthma, environmental allergies, eczema, or food allergies. After about 6 weeks training, the candidate will practice independently with oversight. Great opportunity to develop continuity of care with patients of all ages. We are continually voted one of the best Allergy clinics in MN and are looking for someone who is dedicated to helping patients while having a positive, happy demeanor. Ideally 4 days a week but if desired less days would be OK. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations to determine health status. Administer injections and assist with various medical procedures, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations. Provide health coaching and education to patients regarding treatment plans and preventive care. Collaborate with healthcare teams to manage patient care effectively, including triage and acute pain management. Maintain accurate medical records using EHR systems and ensure compliance with relevant medical terminology. Qualifications Valid Physician Assistant or NP License Please only apply if already licensed in MN. Medical office experience and patient care expertise Proficient in basic life support and patient assessment Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations Experience with administering injections and conducting physical examinations Familiarity with EHR systems such as Epic and Cerner Strong skills in health coaching and critical care management
