Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated, independent Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team, delivering high-quality patient care to diverse patient populations in a small outpatient foot care clinical setting. This procedure clinic specializes in individualized care for patients needing assistance with toenail, callus, and wart issues. Personalized treatment plans are developed while providing foot care and patient education. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes through proactive foot health management, acute and routine foot care, and foot health education. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills directly impact patients' lives and well-being. Duties Conduct physical examinations and patient assessments, utilizing physiology knowledge and clinical judgment to identify health issues. Utilize EMR/EHR system (Jane) for accurate medical documentation and medical records management. Provide specialized foot care for patients with a variety of health and psychological comorbidities across the lifespan. Utilize strong clinical diagnostic and procedural skills, particularly hands-on skills requiring excellent eye-hand coordination, vision, and clinical judgement Skills Ability to learn the nuances of procedural foot care, including toenail trimming, debridement, nonsurgical ingrown toenail treatment (Onyfix), nail reconstruction (Keryflex), and Swift microwave therapy for wart eradication; training provided. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, for accurate documentation and billing. Experience working with multiple age groups with variety of psychological and medical issues including compromised mobility, vision, and hearing. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients on health coaching and treatment plans effectively. Ability to collaborate seamlessly with healthcare professionals within multidisciplinary teams while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
