JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Manager, Director, and Vice President of Nursing, the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner delivers specialty care with a high degree of expertise in perinatal and neonatal health by formulating a plan based on assessment, examination, and selected diagnostic procedures within their scope of practice. Provides leadership for the health care team by collaborating with physicians, nursing, case manager, and multi-disciplinary team members to ensure high quality, comprehensive care is delivered. Has a collaborative practice agreement with the Neonatologist.
JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS
Saint Francis Healthcare System is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team to support the region's largest Level
III NICU
between Memphis and St. Louis.
Position Details:
Join a group of 3 board-certified, fellowship-trained neonatologists and 5 Neonatal APPs 36 bed
NICU. 306
bed Medical Center, 18 LDPR rooms. Our team supports a busy, high-volume, high-quality OB service of more than 1500 births annually.
NEC:

ROP:
0% Supported by the area's only full-time perinatology service and expert staff of nurses, respiratory therapists, and other specialists trained to detect and avert problems associated with high-risk pregnancies and deliveries. Schedule will be 24 hour shifts 0700-0700 (21 shifts/quarter or approximately 7 shifts/month) Benefits include:

Tail Coverage Education:
  • Graduate of an approved Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Program for Neonatal Nurses
  • Graduate of an accredited
Physician Assistant Program Certification & Licensures:
  • Credentialed and licensed to practice as an Advanced Practice Neonatal Nurse in the State of Missouri
  • Credentialed and licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Missouri
  • NRP Certification
  • BLS Certification Experience:
  • Requires a minimum of two (2) years' experience in neonatal nursing
  • Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to read, write and speak in fluent English
