In this role, you will take on all aspects of primary care for our patients. You will perform tests, make diagnoses, and prescribe medication. Our ideal candidate already has experience in an FNP role, but we are willing to work with applicants that have a master's degree in nursing, ANCC certification as an FNP, board certification as a registered nurse (RN), and experience in a clinic or hospital. You need to have strong communication skills to work with our patients.

Key Responsibilities Patient Care:
Conduct physical assessments, take medical histories, and evaluate acute or chronic conditions for patients of all ages.
Diagnostics & Treatment:
Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests (lab work, X-rays) and formulate evidence-based treatment plans.
Prescriptive Authority:
Prescribe medications, therapies, and lifestyle modifications in compliance with state regulations.
Preventive Focus:
Provide robust patient education on wellness, chronic disease management and preventative health screenings.
Collaboration & Referrals:
Consult with supervising or collaborating physicians when needed and coordinate specialist referrals.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate, timely electronic health records (EHR) for all patient encounters.
Qualifications & Requirements Education:
Master's or Doctor of Nursing Practice (MSN or DNP) from an accredited program.
Licensure:
Valid, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) state license.
Certification:
National board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC or FNP-C) through ANCC or AANP.
Life Support:
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in an outpatient clinic, primary care, or private practice setting.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional bedside manner, strong verbal and written communication skills, and comfort working in a fast-paced independent environment Spanish Speaker is MUST.
