Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and mission-driven Primary Care Provider (Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Medical Doctor) to join our clinical team. This role provides direct patient care while also supporting clinical operations, supervising nursing staff, and coordinating volunteer providers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, leadership, and a heart for serving underserved populations in a collaborative, faith-based environment. Key Responsibilities Clinical Care Provide comprehensive primary care services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions. Perform physical exams and develop individualized care plans. Prescribe medications and manage ongoing medication therapy (as permitted by licensure) Order, interpret, and follow up on laboratory and diagnostic tests. Provide patient education on disease prevention, medications, and lifestyle management. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) Clinical Leadership & Oversight Oversee and support the Registered Nurse in daily clinical operations. Serve as the primary clinical decision-maker during assigned clinic sessions. Ensure high standards of patient care, safety, and workflow efficiency. Provide guidance and support to clinical staff and volunteers. Volunteer & Care Coordination Coordinate and collaborate with volunteer physicians and providers to meet patient care needs. Assist in scheduling and optimizing provider coverage. Ensure continuity of care across multiple providers and clinic days Facilitate communication between care team members. Administrative & Operational Support Manage and authorize prescription refills and medication requests. Assist with referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-up care coordination. Support clinic workflow, scheduling, and patient flow as needed. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and clinic policies. Participate in quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications For Nurse Practitioners (NP): Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited NP program Current and unrestricted NP license in Mississippi Board certification (FNP, AGNP, or similar) For Physician Assistants (PA): Graduate of an accredited PA program Current and unrestricted PA license in Mississippi NCCPA certification For Physicians (MD/DO): MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Current and unrestricted Mississippi medical license

All Candidates:

Current DEA registration (if prescribing) BLS certification (ACLS preferred) Minimum 2+ years of clinical experience preferred (primary care or community health a plus) Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
