THE PRACTICE
Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services - Warm Springs, MT The mission of the Department of Public Health and Human Services is to promote and protect the health, well-being, and self-sufficiency of all Montanans. The Department's Healthcare Facilities Division (HFD) oversees the seven state-operated healthcare facilities, including the Montana State Hospital. Inpatient Unit (IPU) 40 hours per week M-F, M-TH, or 7on/off Schedule No night call Minimum Qualifications Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Montana or will obtain license to practice medicine in the State of Montana within twelve months of starting the position.

THE AREA
Warm Springs is named for the local hot springs and located adjacent to Montana's Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest. Nearby Lost Creek State Park features spectacular grey limestone cliffs that rise 1,200 feet above the canyon's narrow floor. Equidistant between Bozeman and Missoula, the community is the site of Montana State Hospital, the only long-term psychiatric hospital operated by Montana. With its stunning natural beaty, the Warm Springs area is a world-class destination for outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy hiking, fishing, skiing, climbing, and numerous other activities surrounded by Yellowstone, Glacier, and Waterton Lakes National Parks. Montana's history is rich and varied, with a mix of Native American culture, European influence, and modern amenities.
